Case Studies

Our members care about protecting Sandbanks for everyone, not just a favoured few. These case studies will give you the idea.

Active Campaigning

When developers filed plans to demolish the Haven Hotel and replace it with a ten storey tower block of flats, we quickly mounted a campaign against the plans

Behind the Scenes

We brought local insight to Council planning that helped greatly improve management of the annual Sandfest festival for the benefit of festival-goers and residents alike

Public Nuisance

We acted quickly to ensure order and cleanliness was maintained so that everyone can enjoy Sandbanks

Traffic

We are working hard to improve the traffic issues - like speeding & congestion - that affect residents and visitors alike on the peninsula
